Lighthouse Community Church Ministerial Hierarchy
Executive Pastor- It is the responsibility of the Executive Pastor to manage the day-to-day church activity and operations, and to assist the Senior pastor as needed with the ministry of the church.
Elders- An ordained member in the hierarchy of the Church, the term is used to denote seniority (Luke 15:25; I Tim. 5:2. The elder has authority to preach, conduct worship services, administer the Holy Communion, Baptism, and the oversight of marital vows.
Evangelists- A licensed clergy member,who proclaims the gospel to others. Eph. 4:11 teaches that all [Christian believers] may possess the gift of an evangelist in a measure, but some are specially endued with it.
Ministers- Licensed member of the clergy staff in the Christian Church, with given authority to perform official ceremonial rites.
Deacons- The term diakonos or deacon denotes the service or ministration. Deacons are mentioned in the New Testament in Phi. 1:1; I Tim. 3:8, 10, 12. A deacon is responsible for ministering to the needs of the church members and offering support to the pastor.
Missionaries- To evangelize the work of the church as much lies within his/her power. To carry the gospel of comfort and deliverance to hospitals, convalescent homes, correctional facilities and the like.
